New Hawleans Jug Band
A rollicking collection of meandering musicians led by the irrepressible and irresponsible “Al the Hat”; The New Hawleans Jug band have dominated the underground Jugband blues culture in NewHaw, Surrey, for more than 12 years.
With their rocked-up, Jazzed-up and messed-about versions of blues, folk and hokum standards, no one genre could accommodate them, so they had to create their own: they are perhaps, the finest “Jugabilly” band you’re ever likely to hear.
Some of NewHaw’s most creative drinkers have shuffled in and out of Al’s group; with the present line-up consisting of: Al the Hat on Blues Harp and vocals, The Doghouse Strangler on upright bass, Precious Pierre on Mandolin, guitar and vocals, Jim-boy on lead guitar and vocals, Alex “Cool-Hand Luke” on guitar and vocals, and Washboard-Steve, on Steve’s mum’s Washboard.
They are regularly gigging country pubs, clubs and festivals around the South of England and bringing long-forgotten classics, plus a few self-penned numbers, to new audiences, eager to hear some real music, played with real enthusiasm and understanding.
The Tootsie Rollers.
The Tootsie Rollers are a retro girl band who fuse old-school classics with contemporary hits. In a Tootsie set Pharrell Williams joins Judy Garland and Duke Ellington meets Rizzle Kicks.
The Tootsies have taken their unique sound all over the world, and count Colin Firth, Richard Branson, Kevin Spacey and Darcey Bussell amongst their followers. They’ve collaborated with everyone from DJ Yoda to Bruce Forsyth, performed at a variety of venues from Royal Palaces to Music Festivals, and recently sold out the London Hippodrome with their own show.
“Cute, Sassy, Sexy & Fun- The Tootsie Rollers are this season’s must-have vintage accessory!”
The Hot House Four

They blend a creative mix of Western swing, early jazz, blues, swing and ragtime with twin guitars, accordion, lap steel, harmonica, mandolin and upright bass.
Over the last two years, The Hot House Four have gone from strength to strength breaking through onto several scenes of music in the UK including the Folk, Blues, Jazz and Rockin' scenes. Although still predominantly based in the South West, they are starting to play across the UK and over into Europe. Having played in Spain in 2015 where the response was phenomenal!
